Closure of atrial septal defect and patent foramen ovale can be safely performed in a totally endoscopic fashion using roboting technology and remote access perfusion. In this video presentation we demonstrate the operative technique and our approach to tackle intraoperative technical difficulties from the experience gained after 23 cases using direct or patch closure.
